Join us for our most prestigious event of the year, the London Lunch at the House of Commons, sponsored by OBM and MP Richard Fuller.

Enjoy a three-course meal, tea and coffee in the Members' Dining Room and hospitality in the Pugin and Strangers' Room. It is a great opportunity to catch-up with old friends and make new connections. This event is for OBMs (former staff and former students) only.

Dress code: Formal wear, OBM tie optional. 

Feedback we have received from the OBM community has indicated that a fairer and more inclusive booking process should be implemented. As such, the process will be as follows:

Stage One – Sponsored places

We are reserving 20 spaces for OBMs who are aged 23 and under, or in full-time education and they will be able to attend this event free of charge. If you would like to be considered for a sponsored place, please email obmclub@bedmod.co.uk by Thursday 11 December with details of why you would like to attend. We will notify you by email on Monday 15 December to confirm whether your application has been successful. Please note that should we receive more than 20 applications, priority will be given to those who have not previously attended the London Lunch, and your reasons for applying for a place will be taken into account.

Stage Two – Earlybird tickets 

These tickets will go on sale here at 1pm on Tuesday 06 January and will appeal to those who would like to make a small contribution towards the sponsored places. In return you will be able to secure your ticket earlier and book multiple places so that your whole group can attend together. 

Stage Three – Standard tickets

The remaining tickets will go on sale here at 1pm on Monday 20 January. You will be able to book for up to five OBMs at a time. 

Due to the conditions of hire, tickets will only be cancellable within 14 days of your booking and no later than 14 days prior to the event. Thereafter, we cannot guarantee a refund but will endeavour to resell tickets and if successful, we will provide a full re-imbursement. In the event of circumstances beyond our control which may prevent the event from going ahead we will seek to postpone the event until a later date.
