We are pleased to announce that, following a close-run contest between three strong candidates, Tony Wildman (1960-67) has been elected as the next President of the Old Bedford Modernian’s Club. He will serve in this role for two years, beginning his tenure at the Founder’s Dinner on Friday 23 June 2023 where he will succeed the current OBM Club President, Robin Wills (1960-69).
An honorary position, the President acts as a figurehead for the association, engaging and re-engaging OBMs and attending certain events in the OBM and school calendar as the OBM Club’s representative.
Headmaster Alex Tate said: “I am delighted to welcome Tony as the new OBM Club President. I would also like to thank Robin for his unwavering support of the association and the School during his extended time in the role which spanned the ‘COVID-years’. I am sure that Tony will continue this strong legacy.”
